Renterizing 101

First, get acquainted with "Elementary" Renterizing as applied to land.

Defined as paying rent to humanity to justify objective and legitimate land claims .

  1. Certainly stands out from more classical justifications in territorial disputes.
    1. Such as:
      • "The king of Spain gave it to me!"
      • "I was here first!"
      • "My father gave it to me!"
      • etc.
  2. May be a natural way to include valid objections.
    1. Usually expressed as:
      • "I pay my taxes!"
    2. Rather than:
      • "I pay my Social Premium!"

Given that the Total Rent paid to Humanity, through Renterizing, is shared equally by all human beings.

  1. And named Spending Income to indicate our, more practical, understanding of the concept of Unconditional Minimum Income.
    1. Because, in our view, along with the concept of Unconditional Minimum Income, it is subject to actual, practical and undeniable Conditions.
      • For instance, we cannot pay you any income if we don't know who you are or where to send the money.

Basic Questions

What is the Rent Rate?

  1. Percentage applied to the value of "Average Surface Area"claimed.
  2. Presently set at 50%.
    1. To keep the presentation simple?

Where is it applied?

  1. To the size of the "Average Surface Area" claimed.
    1. May be refined into "Types of Average Surface Area claimed" such as residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural etc.
    2. How about Enclaves?
      • At the level of Socialism??

Who decides on the value of a given "Average Surface Area"?

  1. Whoever claims the given "Average Surface Area".

Who is liable to pay?

  1. Whoever claims the given "Average Surface Area".
    1. But remember that at the end of the day “The consumer always pays!”
      • Therefore anyone may claim as many, and in any mixture, any "Types of Average Surface Area"
      • As long as they can afford the Rent!

To Set a Scenario

  1. Imagine three groups of one individual each.
    1. Upper Class
      • Defined, within the context of Renterized Land Claims, as those who get a Negative Net Spending Income.
    2. Middle/Neutral Class
      • Defined, within the context of Renterized Land Claims, as those who get a Neutral Net Spending Income.
    3. Lower Class
      • Defined, within the context of Renterized Land Claims, as those who get a Positive Net Spending Income.

Then we run the Scenario.

  1. Upper Class values its claim at $100.00.
  2. While Middle Class values its claim at $50.00.
  3. And, at this point, because Lower Class does not have any money, it cannot have any "Official" claim.

Because we "foolishly" set the Rent Rate at 100%, Upper Class pays $100.00 in rent, Middle Class pays $50.00 while Lower Class has no claim and therefore pays nothing.

SPENDING INCOME
Rent Rate 100%   Claim Value   Rent Paid   Gross   Net
  Upper Class   $100.00   $100.00   $50.00  (-$50.00)
  Middle Class   $50.00   $50.00   $50.00   $0.00
  Lower Class   $0.00   $0.00   $50.00   +$50.00
  TOTAL   $150.00   $150.00   $150.00   $0.00

To show that Renterizing does not necessarily penalize the Middle Class.

  1. Because, in the context of the Net Spending Income, we have only two groups: Lower Class who gets a Net Spending Income and Upper Class who doesn't.
  2. And this regardless of how significant, or insignificant, that Net Spending Income may be as an actual payment.

That's why we update the Scenario.

What if Lower Class decided to use the Spending Income to claim land and valued their claim at $10.00?

Negative Net Spending Income Paid   $50.00 SPENDING INCOME
Rent Rate 100%   Claim Value   Rent Paid   Gross   Net
  Upper Class   $100.00   $100.00   $53.33  (-$46.47)
  Middle Class   $50.00   $50.00   $53.33   $3.33
  Lower Class   $10.00   $10.00   $53.33   $43.33
  TOTAL   $160.00   $160.00   $160   $0.00

When Lower Class gets Spending Income, it tends to benefit Middle Class as well as, arguably, Upper Class.

  1. Upper Class stays rich only as long as people have money to buy their products and services.
    1. And is closer to actually getting a Spending Income; in the context of Net Spending Income.
  2. Middle Class stays employed only as long as people have money to buy products and services.
    1. Even though the Original Middle Class is now considered Lower Class because it gets a Net Spending Income.
  3. Lower Class achieves "greater wealth and stability" insofar as getting a "Net Spending Income" helps them buy more products and services.
    1. And this in spite of using some of its Spending Income to "Renterize".

What about a, somewhat, more realistic ratio?

instead of a 1:1:1 ratio we have

  SPENDING INCOME
Rent Rate 15%   Claim Value   Rent Paid   Gross   Net
  Upper Class x 10   $100   $15   $7.55  (-$7.45)
  Middle Class x 1   $50   $7.50   $7.55   $0.05
  Lower Class x    $1   $0.15   $7.55   +$7.40
  TOTAL   $151   $22.65   $22.65   $0.00

With a Twist

The price of the land claims, set by the claimants themselves, is an official "FOR SALE" price

  1. Always for sale to anyone willing to pay the price.
    1. Keep people from lowballing the worth of their claim
      • To reduce their rent payment?
    2. Also puts a lid on unrealistically high appraisals.
      • To keep from paying higher rent!

Cleaning up Loose Ends

  1. What if the Rent Rate is 100%?
    1. Iff Humanity has not set aside any "Public Land" as necessary links between "Private Land" claims?
      • Upper Class still pays net rent, on a voluntary basis, for the privilege of being rich.
      • Middle Class is not bothered that much as long as it remains somewhat neutral.
      • Lower Class gets Spending Income as compensation for being poor.
  2. What is in it for me?
    1. A Spending Income.
      • The rental income from Renterizing is one source of money for the Spending Income Offered to every single man, woman and child on the face of this Earth.
  3. How much net?
    1. To work out any claimant's actual Spending Income.
      • On one hand you pay Rent to Humanity and on the other you get a Spending Income.
        • Where would that leave you, in our above example, over a period of time?
          • What if, using other sources, Society itself adds to the Spending Income?
            • An amount greater than the Total Rent paid?

With an Extremely Important Post Scriptum

Hopefully, you have noticed how we so, conveniently, neglected any mention of:

  1. Bugs in the system
    1. Here we need patience and persistence
      • The system will not be complete, let alone perfect, from the word go
        • We will have to build it brick by brick
  2. Overheads
    1. Cost of operating the system
      • Such as paying the people who actually do the work
  3. Vested Interests
    1. Some very powerful and very deeply entrenched groups may have reservations
      • Motivated by politic, culture, circumstances... whatever
  4. Etc.
    1. You fill in the blanks
    2.

Simply consider these as definite obstacles we plan to deal with, in due time.

As of now!!

It is important to understand the idea of "Renterizing".

  1. UpperClass pays for the privilege of choosing to be rich.
    1. Seen as more of an Insurance Premium than as a tax.
  2. MiddleClass does not pay as long as it chooses to remain... MiddleClass.
    1. As per Renterizing.
  3. LowerClass gets paid as compensation for being poor.
    1. No one chooses "voluntarily" to be poor.

It is also important to understand that "Renterizing" is the drive to Cultivate the healthiest possible MiddleClass.

  1. Where "Majoritocratic Votes" may be subject to the idea of Renterizing.
    1. After exercising the "Democratic Vote".
  2. Where the "Culture of Capitalism" is tempered by Empathy and Patience.
    1. To find out how well they  can temper Greed.

Then,

If you have enough of the "Emotional Fuel" needed to get going.

To, hopefully, get enough of the "Concrete Fuel" needed to keep going.
